The roast chicken took longer than expected, despite its small size (three pounds is perfect). Bama helped me get a salad ready and finish the soup, leek and chard with rice.
She is way into her vegetables. I blanched asparagus, sugar snap peas, carrots, and broccoli to have them on hand throughout the week. Here, she's eating red bell peppers, cucumbers, spring onions, broccoli, carrots, sugar snap peas, and a bit of lettuce.
By the time the chicken was done cooking, resting, and being carved, she was ready. Try to get between Bama and a leg, her nfavorite part of the chicken yargh!
